Murad’s Castle once served as a garrison for soldiers in the Ottoman Empire, now renovated to host one of the largest ethnographic collections of Palestinian history and culture. The Museum features over 1000 of these precious artifacts that draw from the many chapters of the Palestinian story. The often tumultuous, always fas- cinating history of Palestine is coming alive through impressive displays of handicrafts, amulets, Bedouin tents, utensils, pottery and more, in addition to a unique collection of Archeological items covering different periods of the history of Palestine.
